of blogger, anyways...
I have had so many terrible problems with this blog, that are unfixable, and no one to really help, that I decided to go to a paid blog, where there are real people to help when there are problems.
Since my links are frozen I am just gonna type out my new blog address for you
http://houseofdevign.typepad.com
Come see me over there, tell me you want me to add your link to my site, and tell me what you like about my blogging!
I will be spiffing it up over the next couple days, and hopefully I won't pull out my hair doing it! It is more complicated than blogger, but has far better tools. It is worth it!
So come see me!

All new
Several things are on the plate for my internet life, much to the dismay of my animals.
Firstly, I had completely delete and restart my blog. I had some very bad issues with not being able to click on any links, and even simple things like viewing comments required a very annoying trip around the world to even see them. I couldn't edit any of my posts easily, and most links in my posts were frozen. I had several emails from people who couldn't seem to click on links and leave comments and such, and no matter what I did, I couldn't fix the problem. So it is a fresh start.
Secondly, I have a new full website in the works: House of Devign
I'm excited.
Don't worry if the link seems broken, it isn't I swear! My husband is designing it for me, and he is having issues. He hasn't made a website in ages, and so he is relearning what to do. I am patient :).
The website will be a a full store, full of oodles of hand-made items, and design advice, and of course, my blogging. My blog will include more design, and things I have found on the internet.
I also will begin advertising like a proper person.
So, what is going to happen to my Etsy shop, you ask? Well, I will still have it, but it will be scaled back a bit. Sadly, my sales have all but disappeared, and I have done mostly trading. Trading is fine, but I really need some cold, hard cash sometimes. Etsy is a wonderful venue to be seen, but I think sometimes people are overwhelmed by the choices, then disappointed by the horrendous search engine and give up. I have made two real sales since I got back from my trip in August, which is not good. I have also seen a drop in the views of my site.
If I have a real and maintained website, with proper advertising, I will hopefully do better. Everything is a gamble, but I have my fingers crossed that I will finally be seen and featured, and talked about (hopefully in the GOOD way!).
Things I will have on my site so far will include sachet sets, emergency boxes, bags, jewelry, cell phone charms, birdhouses, wall stars, art, and even embroidered towels. I have more I want to do, but first important thing is to actually get the shop UP.
So, tell me what you want to see me sell more of, or things that you like from my Etsy shop, so I know where to start shopping for supplies!
